Feng Shui & Organizing Expert
New York City

I have been creating beautiful environments all my life. But it wasn’t until I discovered Feng Shui that I recognized how an insightfully-designed space could affect a person’s life.

I first got interested in this ancient art in 1996, when I was going through one of those “difficult” times we all have. Despite a good job and a nice apartment, I knew my life needed attention in a lot of areas: my career, my friendships, my creativity, my love life.

When I learned that Feng Shui was all about addressing these specific areas of life and more, I began to study it in earnest, taking classes and reading books.

The next step was overhauling my apartment, Feng-Shui style. I adjusted the colors, the layout, the artwork and furnishings. It didn’t take long for good things to start happening: new and wonderful people came into my life, I found work I loved, created a garden and beautiful artwork, and eventually met the man who was to become my life’s partner.

On top of all that, anyone who entered my space, at home or at the office, would say, “Gee, it feels so good in here! What’s your secret?”

In 2003 I became a Professional Organizer, soon discovering the connection between Organizing and Feng Shui: you simply can’t have good Feng Shui if your space is cluttered. Ultimately I decided to “go all the way” and get my Practitioner’s Certificate from the Western School of Feng Shui.

Here are a few more particulars about me (in case you're curious). I am a "Red Ribbon Professional" member of the International Feng Shui Guild (IFSG). My distinguished Feng Shui teachers include Stephen Post & Barry Gordon, Terah Kathryn Collins, RD Chin, Katherine Metz, Judith Wendell and others. My ongoing studies include interior design, color theory, and classes at the School of Practical Philosophy.

I have an MBA from Columbia University, and am a past president of the New York chapter of NAPO (the National Association of Professional Organizers). Previous to my organizing and Feng Shui career I was a successful marketing executive with great companies including Time Inc. magazines, BMG Music and Marvel Entertainment.

And my goal?

Feng Shui need not be mysterious,
expensive or impractical. In fact, it has
real-life applications that make good sense.
I want to show you how
Feng Shui can change your life.
